This custom design concept applies an original teal, cream and orange artwork system to a wide gable-style bakery carrier. The carry point is formed from the carton itself: two tall upper paper panels meet above the body and align around one rectangular grip opening. The illustrations show a packaging concept for structure and artwork review. They do not establish dimensions, paper grade, load rating or suitability for a specific product.
A gable closure with an integral paper handle
The body remains a low rectangular carton while the upper panels rise into the handle. Triangular side wings connect the body to that handle area and help control the top closure. To open the concept, separate the two handle panels and release the side locks; to close it, restore the side folds and align both grip openings. No transparent window, separate cord handle, plastic grip, tray or insert is shown.
This route is different from a flat cake-box lid with a small handle feature. Compare it with printed cake boxes with carry handles when deciding whether the taller gable area is useful for your counter presentation and loading routine.
Check the filled sample, not only the empty fold
Start with the exact carton sample and the packing components planned for service. Assemble it without contents, then record whether both side locks seat evenly and whether the two handle openings align without pulling one panel sideways. Add the representative packed item and any liner, board or closed inner pack. Close the carton again and observe the available headroom beneath the sloping upper panels.
During a short pickup trial, note grip access, balance, closure movement and any visible change around the handle cutout, side slots, top seam or bottom. These observations describe one defined sample and load. They are not a certified carrying capacity. The related cake box assembly routine can help keep the operator sequence consistent.
Map artwork around the working folds
The concept keeps the main motif on broad body panels and leaves the grip, slots and tight creases clear. On a production proof, review every visible panel after the carton is fully assembled. Confirm where the front and rear panels begin, how the print meets at corners, and whether an important mark crosses a side lock or disappears beneath an overlapping handle panel. Ask for a structural sample before approving final artwork when the dieline or closure changes.
Prepare a useful custom quotation brief
Send the required internal length, width and usable height; the packed item and supporting component dimensions; the proposed loading sequence; quantity; artwork; destination; and the observations you need the sample to pass. Identify whether contents enter through the top before the gable closes and whether staff will carry the finished pack by the integrated grip. Tuzhe can then review structure, material, printing and sampling requirements against the stated use.
